My name is Abram Bagunu, and I serve at a small local church in Kansas City, MO. My wife Rebecca and I (pictured above) work primarily with the students at our local church in KC, but we are involved in almost every aspect of the local church. If you want to see the context of our church check us out here at Commission Church.
I studied Theological Studies at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO before moving back home to work at our local church. I also have a BA in Biblical Studies from Evangel University—where I graduated as the W.I Evans Outstanding Graduate in the Theology and Global Church Ministries Department. My primary area of study is discipleship. I view theology, the Bible, our practice of faith through the lens of discipleship and spiritual development.
Some things I enjoy are spending time with my wonderful family, friends, and wife. I am a huge family person.
I read a lot. If you are a reader, check out my page on Goodreads to see what I am currently reading.
Also, I love learning about food, as well as eating the food. I watch too many YouTube videos.
Lastly, some other things I enjoy are watching several of my favorite TV shows, listening to some of my favorite music artists, brewing kombucha, tea and coffee, and working in the church.
